“Battery life” is the amount of time your device runs before it needs to be recharged. “Battery lifespan” is the amount of time your battery lasts until it needs to be replaced. Maximize both and you’ll get the most out of your iphone devices, no matter which ones you own.
Here are some battery optimization tweaks:
1.Turn ON the Dark mode, if you have the OLED iPhone , dark mode will save you around 20–25 % battery in real world usage as compared to light mode.
2. Turn OFF Siri if you are not using it.(Turn OFF all the toggles for Siri if NOT in use)
3. Turn OFF Haptic Feedback and all sorts of vibration ,if you are not into it.
4. Turn OFF Raise to Wake.
5. Install Ad blocker for safari if you browse a lot.
6. Limit which apps can use location services.
7. Always use WiFi if available, WiFi is battery efficient than LTE.
8. Turn off notifications from apps which are not important (for ex . offline games).
9. Disable Automatic Updates (ONLY if you manually check for updates at least twice a month)
10. DON’T kill applications to save battery life (iOS is smart enough to take care of it)
11. Monitor your widgets (remove them if you DON’T use them, some of them use location and internet services)
12. Turn ON Airplane Mode (ONLY if you are receiving NO signals from the carrier)
13. DON’T use fast chargers as often.14. LCD iPhones last longer and are efficient around 50% or less brightness.
